Digital that feels hand-made
Ceramics photography is the hero. The site needed to get out of the way and let the work breathe, while still feeling crafted, not generic. Most e-commerce themes feel like inventory management with a coat of paint.
Flux wanted something that reflected the care that goes into each piece. Slow, deliberate, warm. A site you notice has been made.
GSAP Flip as the centrepiece
GSAP Flip for smooth product-grid-to-detail transitions. When you click into a piece, the image expands from its grid position to fill the viewport. No cut, no fade: the layout itself transforms. It feels like picking up a piece and holding it.
Organic reveal animations, nothing mechanical. The motion language matches the hand-made brief: nothing is perfectly snapped or aligned, everything breathes a little.
Where the animation lives
Flip-powered layout transitions on the product grid, image clip reveals on scroll that feel like cloth being slowly pulled back, a cart drawer that slides in with spring easing. Soft, not bouncy.
See it for yourself
The storefront is built and live: the collection grid, the image reveals on scroll, and the warm, hand-made motion language. Open it and feel how it moves.
